our story

how curiosity became ntty.

ntty started with one question I couldn't stop asking myself.

why do "better-for-you" snacks always seem to include ingredients I don't actually want to eat?

everytime I picked up a "better-for-you" snack, i'd flip it over and find preservatives, gums, stabilizers, seed oils, artificial flavors, fillers or refined sugars hiding behind the front label.

i wanted to see if i could make something better.

it started in my kitchen.

I never set out to build a protein bar company.

I was simply obsessed with making better versions of the foods I already loved. and more often than not, it was desserts.

It started with experimenting in my kitchen, creating cleaner, high-protein ice cream recipes with a Ninja Creami. Every recipe became another opportunity to learn how ingredients worked together and how simple ingredients could produce incredible flavor.

Before long, that curiosity grew beyond ice cream.

i wanted to learn how to make chocolate from scratch.

one project led to another.

Instead of buying chocolate that often came with refined sugar and additional unnecessary ingredients, I wanted to see if I could make it myself using just two simple ingredients: cacao and dates.

That curiosity led me down a rabbit hole.

I learned how chocolate is made from scratch, invested in equipment to refine cacao and spent countless hours experimenting until I could turn raw cacao into smooth, rich dark chocolate.

With the chocolate figured out, I started making my own peanut butter cups using those same simple ingredients - a dark chocolate made from cacao and dates, filled with a date-sweetened peanut butter mixture.

The peanut butter filling quickly became my favorite part. I’d catch myself eating it straight from the bowl.

Then one day I had a simple thought.

What if the filling was its own thing?

That question changed everything.

It became the foundation for the very first ntty bar.

Why ntty exists

Most protein bars are designed to survive months on a shelf.

That often means long ingredient lists filled with stabilizers, preservatives, artificial flavors, gums, and other additives.

And somehow, they still end up tasting like… a protein bar.

I wanted to create something different.

Something made with ingredients I'd actually keep in my own kitchen.

Something that feels more like your favorite dessert than another protein bar.

Something I’d genuinely want to eat every day.

That’s what ntty is.

Handcrafted from simple ingredients

Every ntty bar starts with a handful of real ingredients you’d actually recognize: organic peanut butter, organic honey, organic dates, almond flour and grass-fed bone broth protein.

No preservatives. No stabilizers. No fillers. No refined sugars. No artificial flavors. No nonsense.

And because they’re made with real ingredients, ntty bars are kept refrigerated to preserve their texture, flavor and freshness.

We’re just getting started

Today, every bar is handcrafted in small batches in illinois.

The goal hasn’t changed since those first kitchen experiments:

Create ridiculously good treats using simple, real ingredients.

We’re excited you’re here.

We hope you’ll be part of what’s next.

Welcome to ntty.
